Evenin' all
How are you? I don't have any great news and haven't really achieved anything this weekend (surprise surprise)! (ha ha inspector gadget I used to watch that - wednesday afternoons if I remember rightly!!) Trina came round and we watched the Shawshank Redemption. I know I watched it during the week but I thought I better pay more attention to it before I give it back.
Talking of Shawshank, the one thing I love about Stephen King books is the way he intergrates all his characters. I didn't think I would find it in the book I'm reading at the moment. It's the different seasons book with four short stories inside. Apt Pupil I'm reading at the moment. The german guy in that was just talking about his stocks and shares and how some hotshot banker set them up for him and how this banker had been sent to jail for murder. Namely Andy Dufresne from Shawshank. Ingenius!! I first read this intergrating when I read Needful Things and one of the characters of the film Stand By Me (Books called The Body but I haven't got to that one yet :-) was mentioned in that.
We didn't do much else!! We usually spend our time sitting there and watching videos, probably a bit boring but we can never think of something else to do!!
Today I've been quite lazy, apart from walking to the shop, I've just been watching tv and trying to figure out how to transfer some more music to my computer. I'm quite chuffed with myself coz I think I've done that!!
It's weird watching this cartoon thing coz your finding out most of the character voices are done by girls............lol.............
Do you remember I mentioned those things I was gonna do from the 1st march well the cooking thing is gonna have to wait until I've cleared out what's in my fridge. I didn't think about that when I first mentioned it!!
Don't know what else to tell you...........so I shall leave you here.....have a good week!!
Take care
Jen xx
P.s any prizes to those of you who can sing the Transformers theme tune!!
P.p.s I'm only joking!!

Lolol you've got me wondering about the transformers theme. I watched Inspector Gadget too, under protest of course :). The big guy in Shawshank Redemption is tall but not as tall as they made him out to be, he's in a Bruce Willis film, can't think of the name. Lazy Sundays are the best kind Jen..........gears you up for the week ahead. Have a good one. xxR
It's a brilliant film.

I haven't watched that film but will do so. I have been trying to think of Transformers tune, 'transformers, robots in disguise', lol. My son used to watch it years ago. Hope you are keeping well :)....Jules xxxxx
Transformers, Robots in disguise!!!
Hee hee, I watched that 100 greatest cartoons too last night, excellent getting to see 'Thunder Cats' and all the others!!
That's the thing with Stephen King, in most books I've read there's a reference to a character in another book, I love that, it's like a little extra gift! Have you read any of the Dark Tower series? I recently got the two latest, but will have to read all the others again first :o)
