Eden Project on Tuesday was good and the Chiefs were superb :o) More about that at a later date when I manage to do a write up.........gotta make a note of the memories first! For now though I shall tease you with a pic ;)

:o)

Not one of ours I hasten to add.............bet you can't guess where we were standing ;) lol No it's not one of those type of competitions where you have to guess where the football is!!! I honestly believe our arms (or at least Wayne's) is in this photo tee heee heee........

So Wednesday was calming down from that but also worrying about work..........Don't ask me why I was worrying about work. I never panic when I'm there why should I start now? Well we had received an email on Monday from big boss to say that our Job Evaluation results were going to be posted and be with us by Wednesday. So I get home expecting to see post on my mat and there was nothing there :(

Get to work this morning and P tells me it's all been a c*** up again!!!! Some letters were going to be received today and the rest have to wait till next week. So far we've heard that the Assessment team leaders have been upgraded, our team leaders have been down graded and us? D took a call from his wife who was home to open the post as it arrived and she read it out and I could see he was happy and he kept pointing to the ceiling as if to say we had gone up. I looked at him as I wasn't quite sure he meant it, he didn't sound excited or anything. When he came off the call P and I went over and sure enough we've gone up into the next pay scale :o) *dances round like a silly thing* WOOHOO................... This means we are getting it back paid, which unfortunately will be heavily taxed :( but hey, it will be nice to get a little extra :o)

Unfortunately we are not allowed to celebrate like we should at work as it's not fair to others which is fair enough. Several people came up to me to congratulate us :o) I have to say though that I hope our colleagues in the assessment team have gone up otherwise it's not fair and I wouldn't want to be in their shoes if they haven't. I imagined that they had and we hadn't and it wouldn't have been nice :( So fingers crossed for them.

The other good news tonight is that mobile bicycle repair man came to fix my bike :o) He arrived at 6.15pm and took the bike away. At 8.30pm he was back :o) Which was quick considering he said it would be around 9pm. He said that there was grit in the bearings which was why it was skipping when I was peddling so he cleaned that out but didn't charge me for it :o) My gear cable was loose so he's tightened that up for me :o) It cost me £20 YAY which means with the money mum gave me to get it fixed I can now get my hair cut at the weekend :o) :o) WOOHOO..................

Jenny's a happy bunny and apologises for the amount of smiley faces in this entry lol.......

and now for something even funnier............I have a toyboy ;) LOL.........that got you all going...........it's not real unfortunately!!! On Monday night at Trina's I was on the web on facebook and playing on Yoville which is a bit like sims where you own a character and can interact with others. Well this guy came up to my character and said I was gorgeous LOL..........he then proceeded to add me as a friend but I declined him. He asked me why I had said no, and I told him it was because I don't know him and wouldn't just add anyone. So he told me his name and that he lives in the UK and he's (can't remember if he said 19 or 21) years old LOL..................so I joked that he could be my toyboy. What was funnier is that whenever other male characters came near me he would tell them to get lost ROFL...............In the end I've added him as a friend but I've not seen him since :( Hey ho it's all a laugh at the end of the day ;)

So that's it for now peeps ~ hope your having a good week xx

It's gonna get worse this week too what with me not being home for two nights................Hey-ho!!!

Look there's a mood just for me :o) Rockin' lol

So how's you? I'm alright, well better than I was and there's no better cure for misery than spending a lovely evening with some friends. Wednesday night Trina rung to say that Sarah (our queenie buddy from Bristol), was going to Cornwall for the weekend for her birthday, and she said she'd stop in Torquay on Thursday and perhaps we could all go for a meal :o) I left work on Thursday with Wayne and back to Torquay.

Once Trina came home from her second job (cleaning in the evenings), we got changed and made our way down to town. This was after I had caused a fuss about how Trina had promised me they would video the Bill for me :o) I couldn't miss it, it's a five parter and that was part four. Plus I like Smithy and he's the main character in the storyline at the mo lol........anyway Trina, Wayne and I met up with Sarah and Terry in Weatherspoons. We had a few drinks in there and a bit of a laugh about this, that and everything.

We then made our way to get food, it was like 9pm at this point lol.........After waiting for Sarah to make a decision as it was her birthday we went into Hooks. (Trina and I went there like 3 years ago for her hen night and I quite fancied the waiter we had, low and behold he served us that night too, but he's let himself go a bit lol) We had a laugh, waiting for the food and choosing drinks. Sarah, Trina and I had cocktail, blue lagoon, which was lush :o) It made us laugh coz they had a non-alcoholic one which they had called 'safe-sex on the beach' LOL

Anyhoo...........for starters we had loaded wedges with cheese and bacon ~ yummy :) for main course I had the pirates own carribean chicken which was nice, but I didn't go much on the veg in with the chicken in the sauce. You can't have everything I guess lol............

After the meal and complete now with our pirate hats (Hooks has a bit of a pirate theme about it, bet you didn't guess that lol), we walked towards a pub that Trina had reccomended. Unfortunately that didn't work out coz whatever was supposed to be on wasn't, so we ended up in the pub next door where kareoke was on. The singers were either extremely bad or really good. I don't think I had ever felt so old when we walked in.........it seemed like student night LOL.......plus I wasn't really dressed for a pub, still in my work clothes really lol............anyway a few more drinks ;)

We left when the pub was closing and unfortunately as Trina, Wayne and myself had work the next day we had to love and leave Terry and Sarah too it :( I would've loved to stay out but it had been a great evening none the less :)

Work the next day was a bit tough, I was cream crackered lol...... and it was the day when we got the invoices but unlike previous times with the invoices P was actually there :) That felt strange!!!

Anyhow yesterday I did it :o) I made it to mum's :o) :o) and had a nice day with her and titch (Meggy to you lot lol) I brought a few dvd's coz they were cheap and I had some money saved from the electric bill yay............I got Hot Fuzz, Chronicles of Narnia and Muriel's Wedding. I also borrowed a few more DVD's from mum. So that was pretty cool.......She is like my own personal library ;) Bless her.......

Today I did some food shopping and have now got some lovely blisters :( I decided to wear some girlie shoes instead of my trainers which I live in! and now I'm paying the price!! Great thing to have before a gig :(

So yep, that's me up to date :o) Don't think there was anything else I was gonna tell you about........

Only working 3 days this week YAY..........Off to the Eden Project on Tuesday.......cannot wait YAY :o) Please pray for some good weather for us xx

Till Wednesday or Thursday.......take care peeps x

P.s ~ I forgot to add...........a few weeks ago I left a p.s asking you all to keep your fingers crossed for Trina. Well that weekend she was due to do a test for pregnancy but it's all failed :( Luckily, if you can call this luck......because she didn't get as far as being planted with eggs on the IVF then she still gets another free go :o) She is deferring this idea though until next year so she can enjoy herself at the Queen Paul Rogers gigs in October/November!

P.P.S ~ BEST NEWS EVER...............the bike is going to mobile bicycle repair man on Thursday.....fingers crossed peeps x

Me? I'm not so good but thanks for asking lol

Firstly we'll start this entry on a happy note this time next week I shall be at the Eden Project in Cornwall watching the Chiefs do their thing :o) Yay woohoo :o) :o) Can't wait!!

Right now the happy news is out of the way let's crack on with the rest of the crap!!

I don't really wanna discuss my weekend but I shall tell you about it just so that I can rant and rave at you all ;) As you know from the last entry I was going to Taunton on Saturday to visit mum on her birthday. So after purchasing her a card on Friday with my food shopping and working out my train journey I was all set :) I had decided that as it was going to be raining rather than catch the early train by walking to the closer station I would catch a bus to the main station and go from there. Last time I was far too early anyway as mum hadn't got back from her shopping and I was sat out on the doorstep lol

So the 11.10am was the train for me :) I left home a little bit later than I had wanted due to me wasting time on here. It had started off being a lovely day weather wise. Anyway so I walk up the road and waited for the first bus to take me into town. Had to wait as you always do with that one. Grrrrr......Eventually get into town but get annoyed with the rather large bloke who was taking up too much room if you know what I mean ;) Walk fairly fast through the high street to get to the street for the bus. At the end of this road is M&S (Marks and Spencer for our friends abroad ;) and one of their delivery lorries was parked on the corner which is where the bus would come down but it still had room so I wasn't worried.

Well I wasn't until another bus going the other way stopped at the bus stop opposite where this lorry is parked so the whole road way is now blocked and it's 10.50am.............ugh panic. Plus it was raining quite heavily now :(

Eventually the bus arrives and I'm already feelin' stressed. Guess what? The slowest woman EVER wants to get off!!! The phrase 'this can't be happening to me' popped into my head several times. Get on the bus, sit down, get annoyed some more but eventually reach the designated destination. Have to queue for a ticket as there is a barrier and you can't past without one. Brought one fine when the bloke tells me the next train is the 11.10 from platform 5 (there's me thinking i know this.........) he then tells me it's delayed due to some landslide in Dawlish! What?????? That's alright just a few minutes I reckoned and made my way to the platform.

Lots of people there but it's fine. The sign is just flashing delayed with no time given as to when it's gonna arrive. Ring mum and explained the situation, will be there just don't know when!!

Half an hour later I can't catch the next one either as that too is now flashing delayed :( At this rate by the time I get to Mum's will be time to come home. So I seek out the railway person to get details. She couldn't tell us anything. Apparently someone had to inspect the debris and then someone had to move it. She said nothing would be moving much after 12pm. So I ring mum and give her this glorious news (please note the sarcasm) and tell her it's best that I leave it for the day coz god knows when I might arrive :(

I felt REALLY bad :( There was no point in catching a bus as they take forever to get there going through all the back streets etc. So that was it due to the damn weather my day was ruined YET AGAIN!!! I did however manage to get a refund on my ticket :o)

So back on the bus and now my thought's change to worrying about wether I was going to be able to get into the flats. The amount of rain that was falling reminds me of that weekend during the freak rain shower and the doorstep was covered in water :( Luckily it was fine!! I couldn't even count on my back up plan coz they were on their way to Twickenham to see Iron Maiden!!

When I got in, after having a bit of a tantrum :( I settled down in front of the TV watched a couple of DVD's and ate!!!

As I live near the train line, I did note that I didn't see any trains going up till 9pm. However my Team Leader who had visited her mum that day said she caught a train home at 3pm or thereabouts and she was coming from the Dawlish direction!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Sunday I did nothing!!! I watched Memoirs of a Geisha which I thought was very good :o) Then I watched the Men's final at Wimbledon. I was rooting for Federer but alas it was not to be. I did manage to see a bit of Top Gear thanks to the rain at Wimbledon ;)

Other than that life is just plodding along as normal. (God my computer's slow tonight!!) I'm regretting posting the Gig Diary last week :(

You see the thing is (and please forgive me for this as I'm just feelin' sorry for myself), I'm living on my own so that means one wage packet. I can't afford to go out and meet someone like 'normal' people do. Yes I am aware there are clubs that you wouldn't necessairly have to pay for, don't try to find a solution peeps just let me rant!!!! So when something like 'Charlie' happens it plays on my mind. That incident happened in November and I was still thinking about it and 'him' until March at least!!!

At some point it managed to get pushed to the back of my mind, but posting about it here and reading your comments especially Indigo's which made me laugh :) has just brought it all back to the front of the head again. I wish I had a button that would tell me to stop dwelling on things and I know it's easier said than done but I really wish I could :( Unfortunately I have a lot of time to think!!!!!

Anyhoo I know I'm being stupid and need to grow up but I just needed to post that and jot it down so it's one less thing I have to think about.......................

If only it were that simple huh?

Have a good week peeps x

P.S Mum I am sorry I will make it up to you xxxx

I'm alright. So I'll tell you any news that I have first and then you'll get the 3rd entry of Gig Diary seeing as how I got a lot of comments wondering what happened next ;) Don't you just love cliffhangers ?

My weekend was quiet! Didn't really do anything of significance to write about on here. Saturday I cleaned the kitchen properly and hoovered everywhere. Sunday I did nothing but sat here at the computer. I paid the price for that as I've been suffering with back ache for the first half of the week :( Stupid girl!!! I'm getting nagged at by everyone to go to the Doctors but I fail to see why..............They don't do anything for people with bad backs and half the time it's me own fault for not sitting up properly. I had to laugh yesterday at work cos I muttered to myself 'sit up straight for crying out loud' and my team leader sat up straight and went 'ok then'. LOL

Monday night, although I didn't turn the computer on till later as is normal now on a Monday I didn't do any creative writing either. I just wasn't in the mood for it plus I was hooked by the tennis. I started watching Andy's game till 6.45pm when it looked like he was losing, so I turned it off. Did some stuff, had tea, watched an episode of Gavin and Stacey and then went back to see how they were getting on. So watched the rest from 9pm. Jeez what a good match, edge of the seat stuff :o) Unfortunately tonight's match pretty much went as I expected it too..............*sigh*

Yesterday Trina, Wayne and myself went out for the evening as it had been Wayne's birthday on Friday just gone. We went to Pizza Express.........mmmmmmmm dough balls :o) and stupid girl that I am dropped some of the garlic butter stuff down my top so there was this greasy mark all night :( Plus there were some damn fine blokes serving in Pizza Express lol................That was until some girl came in and started flirting with them all grrrrrrrrrrrrr..............After the meal we went to the Vue, which I haven't been to as yet. It opened in town last year (why one town needs 3 cinemas is beyond me!!) Unfortunately Kung Fu Panda isn't showing yet and Wayne and I wanted to see that :( So we saw Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian. Trina and I got some popcorn to share but it was salted so we had to take that back lol...........then it turned out the tickets we'd brought via the machine were for next week but luckily the bloke said it was okay *phew*

All I can say is what a BLINKIN' GOOD film :o) if you've seen the first one and enjoyed it you certainly won't be disappointed with it. A good plot with some great characters and some fab graphics. I'm not one for graphics but this one had brill graphics :o) So go see it if you get a chance x

At the weekend I'm off to mum's as it's her birthday on Saturday. Shan't tell you how old I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate that lol ;)

Anyhoo let's pick up from last week's gig entry lol...........who could forget that I left you after the two support acts had been on and some bloke had asked if he could go in front of me ;) Enjoy x

Needless to say I wasn't too thrilled by this question and told him to get lost in not such a nice manner!! He asked me why not.......I said it was because he was taller than me and if he stood in front of me I wouldn't be able to see the band, which is what I wanted to do. He told me I was lovely and kissed my cheek. At some point i must have turned round to look at him and all I remember is he had blond hair cut short and beautiful eyes. (For some unknown reason I have a feeling he may have been wearing a pink top!!) Anyway he stayed behind me and every now and then would kiss my cheek again and tell me that I was lovely. He asked me my name, but by this point I was still playing hard to get and wouldn't tell him, but I did eventually. I'm such a muppet!! He said his name is Charlie and he was a northerner, what he was doing in Cardiff I have no idea but Trina seems to think he said that he worked in Bristol!! He even started chatting Trina up, until we pointed out her husband was standing next to her. He soon shook Wayne's hand and said something about no hard feelings. He gave up talking to me for a while and had a conversation with the girl next to him, actually asking her the same stuff he asked me *rolls eyes* oooo I forgot he asked me what my favourite Chiefs song was between Modern Way and Angry Mob, I said Angry Mob and he started singing it to me!! Actually saying that he asked her the same stuff was slightly wrong. He didn't give her a choice for her favourite song and he didn't sing it to her either!! Unfortunately whenever he wasn't paying me attention I couldn't resist turning round to look at him, which seemed to encourage him, silly girl that I am. There were two blokes next to him that were at least 30 stone (that's what one said anyway) and we had a feeling they were going to cause trouble when the band came on stage but for now they were making me laugh, as Charlie talked to them at times too. Eventually and I don't really remember how it happened but at one point he was kissing my cheek again and then we were full on kissing!! arrrrggggghhhhhhhh............this isn't me!! This doesn't happen to me.......what the hell am I doing? Shut up girl a very nice looking bloke is kissing you......go with it!! Unfortunately when I finally parted from him, the fat blokes next to us started saying 'hey, you've made her night' and 'tongues and all!' I came back down to earth with a huge terrifying bump and the enjoyment i had experienced whilst flirting with him had all disappeared. I couldn't look at him, although he kept poking me in the back!! All I could do was stand there and keep muttering to myself 'dear god what have I done, that's not me'. The way I was carrying on you'd think the world had ended.

Just when I thought I couldn't handle this anymore the lights dimmed and as I always say to Trina 'magic was about to happen'. Still wasn't thrilled about these big blokes beside us, (I forgot to mention that one of them had said that someone was going to pay!! Me thinks they may have not been amused at the rugby result - don't ask me who was playing etc!!) but i was determined they were not going to ruin my fun!! Anyway as I was saying the lights had dimmed and after about a minute the music started (apparently their opening music was I Predict A Riot slowed down) and the back lights lit up the curtain with Kaiser Chiefs written on it. It was getting very exciting. I love the build ups to bands coming on stage - it's so much fun and anticipation of what's to come. Anyway the music played for a short time and then the curtain dropped and there they were. The whole arena erupted into utter madness, as soon as 'Everything Is Average' started playing there was a surge forwards and I was caught up in it. Unfortunately for me, Trina was worried about me and was holding me back by holding onto my jeans. These particular jeans are not ones that like to stay up and with her pulling on them, it was making things 10 times worse. So I managed to get her to let go of them and she then held onto my jumper which was tied round my waist. This did not help matters as one of the bottles of water that I had sneaked it was being held by this, so that hurt my stomach......Eventually she let go completely and I went with the crowd. I ended up in front of the couple who had been standing in front of me, and then slightly to the left. It was insane!! Even then the crowd surging did not let up and at some point one of the aforementioned girls fell over. I tried to help her up and even offered her some of my water. It was so hot by this point, but I didn't care, I was enjoying myself. Even though I was getting pushed around, it was brilliant!! I even shoved some annoying bloke out of the way coz he ended up blocking my view at some point. Oh, another thing I forgot to mention before the band had come on was the lady who had been standing somewhere miles back was brought down to the front with her partner, once she got there, suddenly she felt a lot better and didn't move!! I'm glad I wasn't at the front I would've been highly annoyed with her for that!!

Anyway the band...........They were awesome!! The one thing I wanna say is if you have listened to their albums or a couple of songs and you don't think that much about them, go and see them live!! That's what they are about and trust me you would not be disappointed!! (I am not sure why but in my notes I've written Ricky's shirt. I have absolutely no idea, although it may have been to mention that Trina saw him unbuttoning it and of course I missed it grrrrrrrrr..........)

Don't wanna make this entry any longer than it needs to be so I shall stop it there ;)

Till next time peeps - have fun x

P.s if I don't do an entry beforehand can you all wish Trina luck for Sunday? I'm not gonna explain why just yet.... Thanks my friends xx

How's you all? I'm afraid to announce that my computer is poorly :( Yep it's caught a nasty virus, but it's mummy was a bit silly coz she downloaded some music on Sunday that was infected *slap wrists* Luckily AVG is kicking in big stylie and telling that nasty virus to hop it coz we don't stand for that kind of stuff round these parts!!!! So cross your fingers people x

Basically on Sunday night I kept losing my task bar and all the icons from the desktop went missing. Monday night is still no computer night (well for the majority of the night it is anyway lol) so I didn't turn it on to invesigate. Tuesday night I weren't home and for the last two nights I've scanned the computer before using it throughouly (can't spell LOL)

Anyway so I'm here and that's the main thing. The other main thing is my mum is back reading so everyone say hi :o) She's got her internet connection back and rung last night for my journal address bless her x

So I guess your all wondering how we got on, on Tuesday night? Well Foo at the Vue did not disappoint and I am smiling broadly because not only did I think I caught a glimpse of myself but our mate Sheila texted Trina (she had gone to see it in Romford) and said 'I saw Jen' :o) Yep ladies and gentlemen I am on it, if albeit briefly lol ;)

The first song Pretender shows a shot of the catwalk people and it starts from someone wearing a blue t-shirt (which I was on the Saturday night) and next to her is a person in a red t-shirt (which one of the young kids was wearing also on the Saturday night) yay me :o) Wayne says he spotted Trina but 'God' Dave was on stage so I didn't see her!! lol..............Can't wait for the DVD to come out properly so that we can pause these moments and study them properly. When you think about it properly though 86,000 people and I was shown :o) :o) :o) That is a huge achievement don't you think????

Otherwise the gig was fantastic reliving it, seeing bits you wouldn't necessairlysee in the audience. Do you know what ?? I think I might listen to it whilst typing this!! *small pause whilst I find it* That's better :o)

I hate to say it but I think obsession has taken new levels with regards to the Foo Fighters lol...............I LOVE them!!!! To rephrase I am not actually in love with any of them but as a band they are truely MAGNIFICENT!!! I seriously do not think that Wembley can be topped by anyone this year and I just feel that every gig that is to come will just be an anti-climax :( I'm sure they probably won't be but that's just how I feel right now lol...........

Plus here's randomness for you..........today at work I was doing something and I just started singing Stairway to Heaven (in my head ;) and then I started singing the Dave Grohl version..............no different really from the original but he does it accoustically and sings the guitar parts it's very funny. So there was that and then I was thinking about the gigs which I've just mentioned and then I started thinking if I EVER win the lottery and you have to remember that chances of this happening are slim to none coz I never do it, I would spend my money on following the Foo's here there and everywhere :o) I would be so happy..................of course I would have to take Trina and Wayne with me!!!

See I call that obsessional!!!!!

Anyway I shall leave you here with a slight entry from gig diary x Last time I left you outside in the rain waiting for non-existant Dave to turn up in Cardiff to hide the fact we were actually stalking LOL..................enjoy x

We heard them rehearse songs we knew, songs we didn't and at one stage we heard the strainings of Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' ~ to say this excited Trina, Wayne and myself was a slight understatement!! It was very good though..........and we all had our fingers crossed they would play it during the show!!

After 2 hours (shakes head in disbelief that she does these kind of things), we gave up!! They weren't coming out and we were all freezing. So we went to the pubwhich is just around the corner from the arena. Because of the rugby the pub was quite full already!! We managed to find a small table and Trina ordered some drinks and Wayne wanted food. I felt miserable and cold and Trina kept asking me what was wrong, I couldn't help feeling like that!! It had failed, but most of my best laid plans tend to do that to me. Still some matters are against you from the beginning and you can't win everything. After Wayne had finished, we figured we had better get back to the car as we had to pick up the tickets. Unfortunately I had one of their songs 'Thank you very much' stuck in my head and I kept singing it out loud so I tended to annoy Trina and Wayne with it aswell. Wayne moved the car to another level and we sat there for a while and tried to decide what was the best way to hide the water bottles. Wayne and Trina hid theirs in the hoods of their tops, if i remember rightly I didn't have a hooded top on so I (and please don't think any less of me for this), put them down my trousers. For those of you that are unaware some venues don't let you take water in cos they are selling it there. However if you want to get to the front, there ain't no way you are going to leave your spot for water. If you are lucky the stewards come round half way through with some water but not all venues do this. This particular venue did last time at the Foos but they had a catwalk. There was no possibility that we were going to get to the front so we had to take provisions!! We had already experienced how hot this venue gets.

So armed with bottles of water and complete with tickets we made our way to the queue which had formed since we had been in the pub etc. Joining the back of it we waited patiently for the doors to open. It was cold waiting though!! Eventually the doors did open but we had to seperate as blokes and women had to go in seperately!! This system is so horrible if you wanna get to the front barrier. Especially if like Trina and myself you get stuck behind all these young ladies who insit on taking handbags into gigs. Mind you, I turned round to look at the queue and was extremely glad that we turned up when we did!! Because the girls side of things were not moving very quickly they said that any of us without bags could go a differnt way. So we did and luckily Trina and i got through okay with our water bottles aka they went undetected. Unfortunately Wayne had been spotted with us, which was unfortunate as he had, had to tip it into plastic cups. Bless him!! He thought he had got away with it but they had called him back!

So we made our way into the venue, without the chairs again this time and made our way to the front or as close as we could get. Trina and Wayne were heading left, so I shouted at them to follow me and we headed towards the middle. Unfortunately we had to wait for ages for the gig to actually start so we sat down for a while on the floor. All these little girls tried to push past us and we tried to be as awkward as possible so they wouldn't but eventually they went past. Still at least these girls were all smaller than me so even with them in front I still had a pretty good view.

The first support act came on eventually. They were called The Little Ones. In my opinion they were okay but certainly nothing special. The bass player made everyone in the audience chuckle as it didn't seem to matter what song was playing he would head bang to it!! It didn't stop when he swapped places with the keyboard player. He was a nutcase!!

After they finished their set there was a break. I hate these moments most in gigs as you have to think of something to talk about!! I think it was during this break that Trina left Wayne and I for a few minutes to go to the loo. I don't like my friends doing that coz it means I have to save their space and they have to fight their way back to us!! I'm not good at saving spaces. I know you have to make yourself big and stuff but I feel like I'm big but if someone wanted to argue the point I would probably loose! Luckily she made it back okay *phew* We couldn't really hear the music being played on the sound system and there was no room for us to sit down.

Second support act was We Are Scientists. I didn't know anything by them but the little girls in front of us seemed to be fans. I was impressed and found them to be quite good. Made a note to myself to download their album when I got home, or perhaps the next day as it was going to be a late night! It was during this band that people started pushing forwards. Some tall bloke and his misses pushed past the bloke who had been standing quietly next to me. He wasn't much taller than me so of course he was a bit miffed that these people had pushed past. He started arguing with them to move and I tried to get involved coz the bloke had a point, but I got some lovely language back. Figured it was a non winning battle. More and more people were coming down to the front by this point and it was getting a bit freaky. This did not bode well when the main band came out! By this point We Are Scientists had finished and the stage was being changed over. It was at this point that some bloke put his arms round me and quietly asked if he could go in front of me.

Ok I'm gonna leave it on this cliff hanger ~ but trust me the next part is fab ;)

Love y'all x

I have nothing to tell you.............then I remembered what happened lol... oooooooooooo drama ;)

Thursday night I was online about 6.30pm and was mucking about on facebook, I was just saving something or coming out of something when AOHell chucked me off the internet connection. I was not amused and I noticed that the modem only had one light on it when it should have two!!! It reminded me the other night when I couldn't log onto AOHell, I had tried for about half an hour and they were claiming I was not an authenticated user???? WTF?? I have been paying for like 4 years how can I not be authenticated. It was late so I didn't ring to shout at them but I tried just before going to bed and it let me on!!!!

Anyhoo comin' back to the original story ;) I restarted the computer thinking that would sort the problem but no still only one light ~ visions of having to remove the modem and reinstalling it and then AOHell stuff came to mind but I couldn't cope!!! I fiddled with cables and stuff and still no use!! So I picked up my landline receiver.............hang on..........shouldn't there be a dialling tone??? There was nothing it was dead!!! So I texted Trina and she rung and we had a slight disagreement!!! Bless her she tries to help telling me to do this and that but sometimes I just need her to listen to me rant!!! Then when I'm a calmer person she could tell me what to do lol...........

So after hanging up on Trina :( *I have apologised for it* I found a number for BT and rung. After pressing 1 or 2 for several minutes I got through to the fault bit and they checked the line. Irratating machine woman told me it would take 30 seconds but after 2 minutes IMW as she will now be known as ;) finally came back and told me a fault has been reported and that an engineer would be sent to work on it the next day. Good I thought!!!! Then IMW went through some more options aka text messages to be kept informed of when the fault was getting repaired and when it was done. She also told me (which I thought was hysterical) that I could keep up to date with the progress by logging onto the internet........................How am I supposed to do this when there's a fault on my line and I can't log on!! I had entered my mobile number for the text messages and she gave me the option to enter a number to have my calls diverted too. I thought to myself is it not just common sense to have them diverted to the one I had already entered?? Obviously not!!!!

So I had to spend the evening not coming online :( I worked on a graphics in PSP, made some new wallpaper for my computer which doesn't look good :( Well it does it's just too small for the screen even when stretched!!

Friday morning early I get a text and I'm thinking it's Trina telling me she's not going to work coz she tends to tell me quite early. Nope, it's the BT people telling me the fault was gonna be worked on. I couldn't imagine spending the whole weekend without my t'internet.

Lunchtime I get a message saying someone's working on it but they may need access to my flat. I prayed they didn't but I got a call from the engineer saying they did. Because I wasn't gonna get home till about 6ish they asked me to check it was working alright then ring 151.

Got home eventually and put the t'internet on and checked the phone and it was all working :) Which is a bit obvious coz I'm online typing this lol

Anyway apart from that excitement not a lot else has been happening!!!

This weekend as it's been the first weekend in many where I've had time to do absolutely nothing and the weather hasn't been that great I have not done that much :) I did clean and made a point of doing an excellant job on the bathroom ~ trust me it was gleaming, it looked awful before lol..........Then hoovered, then settled down to watch videos. I watched one episode of Waterloo Road, and then decided to watch Outlaw one of the DVD's I brought on my birthday weekend. Coz I was cold I brought the duvet into the living room :) After Outlaw (which is good and stars Danny Dyer which is just an absolute bonus for me ;) I was in the mood for more drama, violence so I watched Romper Stomper. Damn good film that is...............

Today I've spent more time under the duvet trying to finish my book, but this afternoon when I was in there I just started napping instead lol...........

So that's it, that's my thrilling life for this week lol........At least this week on Tuesday the 24th :o) We are off to see Foo at the Vue lol..........It's gonna be awesome and I hope we can see ourselves but I'm not holding out much hope!! What am I on about? For those not in the know the Vue is a cinema and they are showing the Wembley gigs :o) Wish us luck x

Currently listening to foo wembley as I'm typing this......still seems unreal that i was there lol........

Well I hope you all have a super week xx

Do you like the title?? It's supposed to be drama at the high seas lol...........

BIG BIG Huggles to the 16 people who left me lovely comments with birthday wishes xx ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) I wish I could hug you all in person but alas this will have to do for now ;) I really did appreciate that though :o)

So another year has gone and passed me by........And although I was still suffering from the previous weekend (BEST GIG EVER), I got a lift from Wayne Friday night to go down to Torquay. He's not been very well and neither has Trina so we've all been suffering. Wayne actually took time off from work though so he's the wimp ;) LOL Anyhoo we listened to the gig highlights that someone had very kindly downloaded and reminisced. Once we got to Trina's house, we had to leave soon after so that she could do her food shopping. This is always fine by me coz it means I can get some bits and pieces and they'll help me back with it, especially as the bike is still out of action :(

We got back to theirs and had fish and chips for tea, or in my case a portion of chips. Wayne watched the footie upstairs and Trina and I ended up watching a programme about best before dates and how this woman ended up chucking £50's worth of food each week ~ isn't that ludicrous???!!!!! If only I could afford to chuck away £50 lol

The rest of the night we didn't really do much, think I might've surfed the interweb, but we stayed up to watch the Kaisers on the Isle of Wight highlights :o) Went to bed afterwards. I did open a couple of cards before I went to sleep. One from the Assessments team at work and one from Sarah one of our Queenie buddies :)

Next morning I woke needing the loo and on my way back, Trina asked what I was doing up!!! I went into her room and stayed in there for a bit. She brought me up a cup of tea, and gave me some cards from friends who had asked her for my address so she had told them to send the cards to her house coz I would be there :o) Some lovely cards. Then we tried to decide what we were gonna do, obviously Wayne wouldn't be joining us as he has 'man flu'. I mentioned I would like to go to Plymouth as I hadn't been there since I split from my ex. I never mentioned it before coz Trina and Wayne don't like the place. But she said she wanted a bus journey so I thought it would be perfect. She rang up for times and apparently it was a 2hr journey. We decided we better get up then.

She made me a bacon sarnie :o) and I got given my pressies which were: Royal Family DVD (the comedy series not the actual royal family lol), Gavin and Stacey DVD, Waterloo Road DVD, and in her card was £40. I had told her whilst we were food shopping that mum had given me £40 to fix the bike, so when I saw this in her card I felt bad. I should've told her earlier so she wouldn't spend so much on me :( Silly girl!!! She then told me to follow her in the corridor, which I did. She opened the door to their porch and there in a box waiting to be made up was my new desk :o) I finally have a desk dedicated for writing YAY I love my bessie mate and her hubby!!!

After some more pottering about, she looked up train times on t'interweb and it only took an hour to get to Plymouth so we decided that was a better way and we got ready. I think it was about 11am when we finally left the house. Wayne needed more petrol though and this caused hassels!!! Of course with the shortages at the moment there were queues everywhere so we missed our train :( We did make it to catch the something past 12 though. We were expecting the train tickets to cost somewhere in the region of £10 but it actually cost £5.50 for a return!!!! How cool is that?!!

We managed to catch the connecting train at Newton Abbot fine and enjoyed the ride. Once arrived at Plymouth a slight disagreement reigned as neither of us knew how far the train station was from the town centre so did we catch a taxi, take a bus or walk it?? My argument to walk won :) and surprisingly enough it didn't take that long. We were so happy about it, we started dancing in the street lol..............

We spent some money first in Wilkinsons, then we found a cafe and got a muffin each (best muffins EVER) and I had a cheese and onion panini which was gorgeous :o) Then we brought some DVD's, I got Outlaw, Wild Hogs and Run Fat Boy Run ~ hadn't seen any of them but wanted to watch them :) Then I got a bag from Claire's Accessories which I love and really suits me. Trina brought me some badges to put on it. Then we treated ourselves to pic n mix from Woolies. Mine was the dearest :( but I also got Watership Down and Day After Tomorrow on DVD's. Trina brought me an Indiana Jones mag as it had a notebook and pen with it :o) Bless her............lol.............Please no comments about obsession, we could've taken it a lot worse but we didn't ;) LOL

Then we had to make our way back to the train station. We were trying to decide whether we were gonna eat out or not. I said I would prefer to coz I don't very often and it's a nice treat, but with Wayne and his man flu this was probably not gonna happen.

He surprised me though as when he came to pick us up, he was all raring and ready to go out :o) So we went to the Brewers Fayre down by the harbour. I had a pint of lager and a chicken tikka massala and sat there thinking does it get any better than this? Came to the conclusion probably not *grin*

When we got back we watched Run Fat Boy Run which was good, if a little predictable, but it was funny :)

Next day Trina and I had an Indy fest :o) We watched Temple of Doom and Last Crusade before they brought me home.

Wayne set about putting the desk together and Trina started turning up my trousers ~ it was my own little sweat shop. I did feed and provide drinks for the workers though :) Bless them both they did grand jobs!!!

My desk looks fab and I've changed the room around so it looks much tidier somehow lol...........

Trina and Wayne are great and made the birthday weekend fab, bless them both :o)

I had a few more cards when I got home from family members, so that was nice. I also received birthday emails from the Foo Fighters message board team and the Kaiser Chiefs with a video message wishing me happy birthday :o) I love that ~ I know it's just a general thing to send out to their fans but it's the personal touch that gets me lol

Anyway apart from that I received quite a few emails from my fellow members of the DSD graphics group and one in particular came from one of the managers Debs, (some of you might read her journal or seen her graphics before :) Well she made my sig that I'm gonna leave you with tonight and I CANNOT thank her enough.........

Debs is a legend xx

isn't that the best????!!!!!!

How are you all ?? Well what a weekend!! I came home aching and with a new sexy voice :o) Here we are today on Tuesday and I still feel like crap :( and now to top it all off I have a sore throat!! Hope it gets better for the weekend lol.............

Yep Foo Wembley ROCKED with capital letters :o) and the best bit of it all was.............the triangle solo......................LOL.................nah I'm only joking, the fact that we got close to Mr Grohl and Trina said he looked at me :o) I did see him glance in my direction the first time but I missed that look..........but hey, he saw me, he knew I was there and as a hardened gigger that is the only thing that matters.

Listened to the gig on Radio 1 yesterday................Once My Hero came on I was shivering and crying, it was so flippin' awesome. In Dave's words "86,000 back up singers" and I was ONE of them :o)

Now we've heard the recording now we've gotta wait till the 24th of this month to see the DVD recording at the cinema.................*crossing those fingers* that I might be on it lol

Anyhoo I have no further news, except to thank Morty baby for my new award and I see Pammels has bestowed one upon me too ~ thanks buddies, loves ya xx

Sorry I was a crap journal reader last week, I'm making up for it this week, I promise x

So as we have a lack of news here's the next instalment of gig diary :o) I'm taking you back to November last year and our last stint in Cardiff to round off two weeks of gigs nicely :o) Coz first we had the foo's in Cardiff, then in London, then Bill Bailey in Cardiff and now I present to you.......................

KAISER CHIEFS - CARDIFF INTERNATIONAL ARENA - SATURDAY 24th NOVEMBER 2007

As a Queen fan, I should've been spending this particular day at home with my DVD's/books/cd's reminiscing about how marvellous Queen were with Freddie!! 16 years ago we lost the greatest man and life just hasn't been the same since!!

Instead I was going to see a band live in Cardiff. I had wanted to see this band in concert since the beginning of the year and I can't even tell you why?? I think Trina and Wayne are wholly responsible for me liking them. I remember seeing videos of theirs on the music channels just as they were becoming famous but I flipped over as I wasn't interested ~ so at what point did that change I have no idea!! All I know was I had a new fixation. Around June/July time I woke up one morning to the radio on the alarm clock, it was the local station and they had played a Kaiser Chiefs song and afterwards said something about an annoucement.....my brain went into overtime and I did consider listening at the time they said they were gonna make this announcement but I couldn't be bothered. Instead I found it out another way, but can't remember what that was. I tried to contact Trina but she was in Scotland at her brother-in-laws wedding.....so what was the news? Only that the band I had wanted to see from the beginning of the year was coming to my home town arrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh......... The Kaiser Chiefs were playing an arena tour November/December and the first date on their list was November 21st at Exeter Westpoint. I was dead excited and could hardly contain myself, I forwarded an email to Trina and a couple of days later she got back to me. Wayne and her were looking forward to it, so she would book the tix. Presale ticket day eventually came and she contacted me at work to let me know she had managed to accquire 3 tix for the 21st. Suddenly a terrible thought came to me, that date rang a bell?? Why?? Damn, we were due to see Bill Bailey in Cardiff that day!! I quickly told her what I had suddenly thought and she said she would ring again and get the tickets changed. Bournemouth was the next date or Cardiff on the Saturday. She rang me back and they had exchanged them for the Cardiff show WOOHOO we were still gonna see them!!

Knowing I was going to see them, made me look more into the band, who they were, their personalities, the songs etc etc.........Which I suppose is a bitobsessive but hey, I'venever been one to not be obsessed about something and it was exciting looking at new things!! Trina had to sit through it all bless her, the video's on youtube, me talking about them constantly, and whether she liked it or not she was soon starting to feel the same as me. For some reason as the gig drew closer I just had this awful feeling Trina and Wayne (my favouritest gigging buddies in the world), weren't gonna enjoy it and that made me wonder why we were going. Don't ask.........all I know is that I'm very odd!!

I think as punishment for not doing anything from the first paragraph I had a sore throat on the Friday before the gig and woke up on Saturday morning with it and feeling quite rough. I was determined to go to the gig though as I had been waiting for this since the beginning of the year. Had a bit of a lie in and then got up to have a cup of tea and get ready for Trina and Wayne to turn up. Listened to Yours Truly, Angry Mob whilst waiting and just as I was about to put Parva (that's the Kaisers before they became the Kaisers) into the cd player, I got a call from Trina to say they had arrived. I also got a text from her saying 'I was born to be a dancer' so I sent one back saying 'I want to retire'. Anyone who knows their songs will get that!! The plan was we would meet up early and go and get a fry up from somewhere so we made our way to the Imperial (a weatherspoons) as I had never been there before. Trina decided we should sit on the tallest chairs ever, so tall that I couldn't pull myself in!! She went to order our brekkie's and eventually they turned up. We were being served by a complete goit, and they must've been busy as there were no knives and forks left, he had to wash a mug for my tea and put the milk in an expresso cup!! He hadn't brought Wayne his chips and came over to check the receipt thinking that we were in the wrong!! A complete and utter goit!! After that farce was over we decided to make our way to Cardiff. I had convinced Trina that we must stalk!! AGAIN................

So we made our way to Cardiff whilst listening to Employment and Yours Truly, Angry Mob in the car on the way there. Pausing only for Trina to sing the whole of the littlest hobo lyrics at us and for us to join in. This was reminiscent of the journey home after Bill Bailey. She also tried singing Mysterious Cities of Gold, but couldn't remember the tune so 80 day's around the world was sung instead. They did put the music back on much to my relief!! The traffic wasn't too bad all the way until we entered Cardiff. The Kaiser Chiefs weren't the only ones starring in the city that day, so was International Rugby at the millenium stadium. So of course in true Cardiff style roads were shut and we got lost!! We are getting so good at getting lost in Cardiff. It wasn't too bad this time we just took a couple of wrong turnings and eventually found the backstage area for the venue which meant the car park was in sight. Of course this screwed plans for stalking but only slightly!! We had aimed to be there for 2ish and we were more there for 2.45pm, damn it!! Plus the sun had been shining most of the morning but now it was raining, marvellous!!

We made our way to the car park, but there was a queue (of course), so Trina agreed that we should leave Wayne to go and park the car and go stalking!! Even if it was raining!! So we got out of the car and cut across the outside car park to get to the back stage area. There were a few tour buses parked on the same side of the street that we were on but not a lot else was going on. Wayne joined us not long after and we stood there, looking like muppets getting wet and pretending to be waiting for a lift from some bloke called Dave with a fiat punto or was it an uno?? Well let's just say it kept us amused!! About 15 minutes later we could hear music (very loudly) coming from the arena ~ damn it they were already in there!! So the chances of them leaving the arena before the show?? Possibly slim but I had what I call the 'roger syndrome'!! I call it this coz whenever I'm waiting for Roger to emerge from a building I think 'oh just five more minutes' coz you know the minute you walk away, they are gonna come out. So we stood there, listening to the set and watching all these random people come and go from the backstage area. A van turned up at one point when Trina and I were on our own (Wayne had gone in search of a cashpoint!) and we debated as to who it belonged to, but were none the wiser when it parked up next to us!!

So we shall leave it there for now...........................hope your having a good week xx

Me?? I'm dead excited :o) No more work for me this week WOOHOO coz Trina, Wayne and I are off to Londonium for Foo Wembley :o) Go on join me in doing the happy dance ;) You know you want to lol

So with a short week there isn't too much to report or so you would think??? Don't be fooled by this journal's exterior lol

I'm going to start off with a bit of a warning first. This journal may have to go private!!!! Why? I hear you cry.............Firstly calm down you know I would add you as a reader ;) It's just the father unit is online but unfortunate for me he's on AOHell.........I've asked my brother who is guiding the parental unit through all that is good and holy about the internet not to show him my journal. He's also just joined Facebook so I have removed my link from there. At the end of the day as I keep telling people in the comments that I leave these journals are here for us to rant and rave as we see fit and we shouldn't have to care what others think or feel about it!! What's written is personal to the writer and that's all. Maybe he should read what I've written so he could finally understand what I'm thinking but I'm not sure this is how he should find out. I'm not saying for one second he will find the journal but I'm just making you aware ;-)

Secondly I've had a bit of a strange one at work yesterday. The two girls that have moved behind us were moaning about P again, which in all fairness is fine, but they were questioning how I put up with it considering I sit next to her. So I joined in with their conversation. Now I don't know why I did it but I may have inadvertently started a rumour about P :( Trust me I don't feel happy about it..........it's no better than those little ejits that used to make rumours up about Trina and I when we were growing up. I just mentioned it and it may have been a little misconstrued. Luckily today though P has been nice to them and even chatting to them about life, so perhaps they may just forget about it!!!! I feel utterly guilty.........................

Another thing I feel slightly guilty for, when I was talking to them, they said that they were annoyed that P had gone to the team leader about the fans and that if she had just said they would've turned it off :( It wasn't P that had moaned about that to the team leader it was me :( :( I knew when I was moaning about it to the TL that I should've confronted them and they probably would've been nice about it, but I was an emotional wreck and couldn't handle life at that moment. I can't confess it was me though...............I want them on side LOL.......... Plus she was the one that had shut the window without asking them if it was okay so I figure that's where they have got the impression it was her................Oh well!!!!

Anyway now that I've got that off my chest I can breath a bit of a relief ;)

So what else? Oh yeah Jayneeeeeeee asked me if non-computer night had gone well. I am happy to report that whilst the computer was off on Monday night I did start concentrating on my creative writing :o) I am hoping beyond all hope that I can carry this on, but I have such a talent for starting something and not seeing it through till the end :( But I guess we shall have to wait and see.

One thing that did put a smile on my face today was as I was looking through the local paper for jobs. I came across the stars and as much as I don't believe them it was interesting to see what it said for Gemini.......................

Writing a book, screenplay or poem will be a welcome outlet, (blah blah blah randomness about something not important to me) If you've ever thought about submitting your creative work for review do so today.

That's pretty cool huh? Unfortunately I don't have anything substanial to submit, so let's hope that comes up again ~ cross those fingers for me peeps xx

I was gonna start the next gig diary but perhaps I'll do that next week ;) Something for you all to look forward too............juicy stuff in the next one ;) lol

I'm still behind in alerts and as I'm heading to Londonium tomorrow night I shan't be here to hopefully catch up :( I may just delete and start a fresh from Sunday ;) We shall see...........

So for now hope you all have a fab weekend xx and I beg you all, please don't judge me..............

Good lord what a week.............Where do I begin this entry? Well Tuesday was fairly uneventful which was nice and it all started on Wednesday.

Got home from work as usual, well a little bit later actually coz I was trying to build up some flex :) and I rung mum to see if she was free at the weekend, she was so that was good.

Later in the evening I got a text from my brother to ask if I wanted to go out for this meal ~ i thought yeah cool.........and rung him back during a break in Britain's Got Talent. He asked if I minded Dad coming along.............(regular readers will remember I don't get on with my father and there is really no love lost there ;) Annoyed that I was being stitched up like this by my own brother I agreed that he could tag along. Apparently he wanted to know why I wasn't contacting him and why I didn't like him.

So I spent the rest of Wednesday night in tears thinking how awful this meal was going to be, but at least it might give me the opportunity to set the record straight after all these years. The more I would think about it the more I would cry :( I didn't want to loose my brother over this coz I'm sure he doesn't understand how I feel. Anyway Thursday I spent at work panicing :(

Because of the way I was feeling I agreed with P that we needed chocolate and coz I needed money for the meal I went down to the kitchen to get it :o)

5 o'clock came and I had to leave to make sure I was there by half 5 to meet them. I didn't really care whether I got there on time or not............tried to put it off for as long as possible. Whilst i was walking there it was raining so I had to spend the rest of the evening with damp feet :( Not the best thing in the world to have lol

Met Greg and we went in for a drink, apparently Dad wouldn't be there till 6pm. I tried to look as nonchalant as possible, like I didn't care but goodness knows whether I pulled it off. Greg and I chatted until he turned up. As soon as he came in, I could feel the dread in my stomach :( He got a drink and sat down on the poof thingy and he seemed to be sitting with his back to me as he talked all kinds of technical crap with Greg. This was not starting off well (he had said hello to me, just in case you were wondering lol).

So after a while we went to get a table for dinner.............they were busy and told us we would have to wait 30 minutes. It wasn't 30 minutes later when they called us so that was good :) I had scampi for the first time ever, which was quite nice. The conversations over dinner was mostly stuff that I had heard about before but I was told that he had sent me xmas presents for the last two years but knew I wasn't getting them as I hadn't cashed the cheques. He seemed to be under the impression this was what had angered me.............oh, how little he knows me......................

Anyway to cut a long story short ;) I have agreed that he can get my number and stuff from Greg and contact me. Well if he makes the first move I can't argue with that for a change can I? We shall see anyway...............

The whole time we had been in the pub it had been raining and when we left it was absolutely pouring down!!!!! I was lucky coz Greg offered me a lift :o) So I got home, put the TV on and unpacked my work bag...............Hang on a minute where is my wallet??????????

Freaked out I turned my work bag inside out and even checked my coat pockets twice...............This turned me to blind panic and made me tearful once again :( I had just taken out £10 to pay for my meal but Dad had paid so I didn't need to look for my wallet at the pub!! I couldn't believe it, I was broke anyway but to loose £13 was a nightmare................................Usually my wallet has nothing in it........................

Then if that wasn't bad enough...........coz it was raining so hard out there the plumbing started acting up :( So I couldn't use the toilet and I always get freaked out when I can't use the loo coz that will be the one time that I want too...................More tears............

I went to work Friday with my heart in my mouth hoping beyond all hope that my wallet was still in my drawer..........it was *phew*

But just when I thought I was coping..............the office move happened to incorporate the section with the girl that I didn't like much (I don't mind her as much now ;) Well they are sitting behind us. Well five minutes of them being there they had the window open and the fans blowing.............I could feel my back starting to play up. It doesn't like a chill..............So I couldn't cope anymore...twice i went to the loo's :( P has gone back to her moody ways with the world.............which is not good. I know I work with her but I don't want to be part of any annoyance anymore.

So I went to see Mum yesterday and hoping for a good day I left earlier than usual and had to wait at mum's door for her to come home from shopping lol.............

Meggy's got Mario Kart for the DS so I was playing that pretty much the majority of the time :o) I want a DS for that game alone lol

We went into town and I brought essentials but nothing spectacular.

I came home and walked back from the train station..........about 1 minute away from my front door and it hammered down with rain. See pictures 7,8 and 9 for the devastation of the heavy rain. I couldn't believe it when I saw the car park flooded..........of course it made me panic about the plumbing again........then there was more rain forecast for today :(

Luckily it hasn't rained since and that water disappeared as quick as it appeared...........pray that we don't have anymore. It's started me thinking perhaps I should pack an emergency bag in case I have to leave for flooding :( Well it's just a thought.

Anyway lighter subjects..............Who watched Britain's Got Talent? Yay George :o) I'm so happy he won..........I was crying still when his name was announced but it was happy tears this time lol.................

Well I hope you all have a better week than I have x I'm behind in alerts which won't help tomorrow coz I'm going to start having Monday's as a no computer night...................Wish me luck ;)

Take care all xx

So coming up in today's entry the usual annoyance, obsession, chillin, silliness and lots more. Has that tempted you to read more? Well I can only hope ;)

So did you all have a good weekend? I know I said in the last entry that I was going to Trina's and that I might make an entry there and I would catch up with the journals but things didn't go according to plan.......................read on!!

Friday I had a half day at work, which was good coz I couldn't really concentrate, what with the fact I was wondering whether I was gonna hear about the job and what would I say?!!! Unfortunately the team leader left just before I did coz she had a headache, (why she turned up at all that morning is beyond me!!) and that left P on her own but apparently she coped :) So I left at 12ish and went home, got changed and packed and went to catch a train to Torquay. It was heaving on the train until we got to Dawlish!! So I managed to grab a seat then *phew*

Anyway walked from the station through town, stopped at Tesco's for food stuff :) and walked the rest of the way through town to catch a bus. People at the bus stop annoyed me!! I was in the queue with my two bags and food shopping and these three people with a pushchair stood behind me!!!!!!!!! Of course there wasn't enough room on the pavement anyway but with them stood behind me, I was the one getting knocked into all the time. I tried to give them evil glares..............eventually the queue moved up so did I :o) But get this............the annoying people with the pushchair didn't bother waiting for the bus, they left the area not long after i had moved!!!! WTF?????

Eventually get to Trina's and I'm hot, sweaty and pretty much disgusting but glad I was there :o) The cats didn't bat an eyelid that I had entered the building. There was one on the cushion when I went into the living room but hadn't noticed him LOL.........Rung Trina she was telling me about flash showers and fork lightning and there I was in a hot sunny Torquay..........

Anyway spent Friday night on the internet playing games and stuff. Saturday got up late, couldn't be bothered with the gym didn't feel that great but managed to get enough energy to go for a quick walk. It wasn't raining but it was cloudy and very windy! Walked along the downs to see if I could see the beach and there wasn't many people down there. Did consider going down but figured the cliff railway might not have been running and I couldn't afford it anyway!

So spent the rest of the evening chilling. About 4/5pm I get a phone call from Trina to say that they were cold, tired and Wayne's headaches had been starting so they had decided they were gonna come home early. Wayne had said that as a thank you for looking after the cats, we could go to the cinema the next day. That was it I was dead chuffed and excited that they were coming home :o)

They didn't get there till 3.45am and I'd waited up for them, well I had to make sure they had arrived safely and if I had gone to bed they would only have woken me up lol

So naturally we didn't get up very early on Sunday. When we did we had some chocolate sauce on toast *yum* and then went to the cinema a bit later :o) Indiana Jones :o) :o) :o) :o) was showing and that's what I wanted to see!!! They had been showing the first three Indy movies on BBC the last few Sunday's and I missed the first one but watched the second and third one. I mentioned to Trina that i had been watching them and so had she.............so we have now discovered that we have a new obsession with Indiana Jones. Not Harrison Ford but the character :o) Well c'mon ladies you wouldn't kick him out would ya ;)

*shock* Anyway the film was typical Indy. Not sure whose seen it and who hasn't so I won't give too much away. I shall just say that I did enjoy it even if I do think that the person who wrote it should be injured in many ways............the plot is stupid!!!!!!

We spent the rest of the day chillin', listening to music, and I was trying to be creative :o)

Monday ~ Trina and Wayne went to Blockbuster and Trina managed to find the box set of the Indy movies so we've gone halves tee hee hee.......and we spent the afternoon on the sofa with munchies, a duvet and a cat between us watching Raiders of the Lost Ark............BRILLIANT!!! Couldn't have spent a better bank holiday Monday even if I'd tried lol............Mind you it was hard work to get Trina to make me a cuppa.......wasn't it Trine xx LOL

Back to work today booooooooooooooooooo.............

Some new random car has parked in my space tonight. I am NOT amused!!! Get rid of one and another turns up! It's not there now though thank god!

Websites have a vendetta against me at the moment. Tried logging into my yahoo emails at lunchtime and it wouldn't let me :( Facebook keeps chucking me out.......don't get me started on how long and what a fiasco it was trying to get a password reminder from Photobucket!!!!

So the main annoyance? Britains Got Talent of course!! why am I watching this tripe? Tonight it clashed with the Apprentice, but what did I choose to watch? BGT, how stupid of me!! I suppose it was too much to hope that my favourite acts from Monday and Tuesday would get through!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..........

Still at least Lee is safe in the apprentice, I saw that bit :o) Yay lee..............

Sorry this has turned into a long entry.........

Laters peeps xx

p.s I did manage to beat Trina's score on Ballonster ~ yay me :o)

and no I haven't heard about that job :(

I don't know what to think or feel ~ this is ridiculous!!! If you want to know what I'm talking about if you live in the UK just watch the national news!! Otherwise click on this link...............CLICK HERE This should take you to our local newspaper website.

Basically some bloke set off a bomb in a restaurant in town at lunchtime and there was another but the police managed to stop that one. The only person injured was the bloke who set it off but oh my god...............this kinda stuff doesn't happen in my part of the country, and now they are saying it's related to Islam, which is scary!!!!

It goes to show how much we are not used to dealing with this kind of thing as the police have asked officers from London to come down and help with the investigation, plus apparently MI5 are involved!!!!!!

What has this world come too? I'm just thankful that no-one was hurt apart from the complete and utter ejit that did it!! They are saying that he has a history of mental illness, well if that's the case who on earth let him take a bus from Plymouth to Exeter today?? Questions need answering people!!

Such a day of emotions..........I'm not sure I can cope anymore!

Jan guessed correctly I had a job interview :o) I didn't wanna tell my work colleagues were i was going, at the end of the day it was none of their business and I was very lucky that I was given the 9.15am slot which meant I could go to work just arrive late. I told them I was going to the Doctors. Almost got away with not saying anything until yesterday when I reminded them I was going to be in late and my team leader asked why!!

Anyway I made my way into town via bus at 8.30 and the bus arrived quite quickly so I wasin town by 8.40am. I actually went and sat in Princesshay waiting for the time to tick away and trying not to get nervous!!! It's so freaky to think I was there before the bomb went off!!

So eventually I went to my interview and it went okay. It was at the Register Office and the post is Administrator but the money is the same. I just want a change of scene but I can't afford to take a dip in wages. I even made mistakes when I was writing my name and address damn it!!!! Still they said they would make a decision by the end of the week so I guess I just wait and see.

I'm not sure how i feel about it all now though..............on one side I know I don't really fit in where I work at the moment, don't enjoy the job, and there are changes a foot which could mean it would get worse. But..........if I'm offered the job do I take it? Is it really gonna make a difference? The hours are 8.30-5 although there is some flexibility with that and some Saturday mornings which doesn't bother me coz I tend to spend weekends doing nothing..............well some of them anyway!!! I'm just not sure.........and I've spent all day in this state of unsuredness (is that even a word LOL)

This only stopped when Wayne sent me a link for BBC news website saying about the explosion. I soon got the whole office talking about it!!

So that was the day, but it didn't end there. I get home and start watching the regional news full of the days events and my brother rings. I had completely and utterly forgot that he had started a new job in Exeter on Monday!!!!! Luckily he was ok :o) Apparently though his office was in the cordoned off area, but the police hadn't told them, so when they walked out later in the day the police looked them as if to say 'what are you doing there?' LOL.............. He managed to get home coz he doesn't park near the office.

He did say that we would meet up next week for a meal or something :o) That will be nice.

I tell you what it is so scary to see the pics of the town absolutely devoid of people :( it's ridiculous...............

Anyway I am going to Trina's to baby-sit the cats this weekend as Wayne and Trina are off to Glasto-budget. I can now access the internet down there which is good so I shall catch up with the journals, I'm sorry I have neglected you for the past couple of days.

I may even write an entry whilst I'm there ;)

So take care peeps and enjoy your weekend x

I'm alright, had a nice relaxing day today :) I know your asking now how could I have had a nice relaxing day whilst being at work? Well I wasn't at work I had to go on a training course. This was nice for 3 main reasons 1) didn't start till 9.30am, 2) lunch is provided and there are sweets on the table of the training room and 3) it finished at about 1.40pm so I could come home straight after :) This meant that P had to stay till 5pm which serves her right coz she's off for the next few days and we've got the bills :(

The girl I'm not fond of was on the same day as me so I was a bit nervous about it but it turned out okay in the end. As long as we are both pleasant to each other in the work environment there should not be a problem should there? Nah that's what i thought!!

Bad news at work this week, the newest member of the team I work on, who started in December has handed in her notice and she's not come back this week (she was on sick leave last week :( ) I was liking her, although I must admit i did find it frustrating when she constantly asked the same questions, it was like nothing was sinking in............... So another one bites the dust!!!! That's two since the main post holder left :( Means I have to stay till 5pm every night again coz there's no-one to share the burden........damn it!!! To be honest i don't mind, but every now and then I get the feeling I'm getting lumbered and never say anything, as per usual Jenny sits there and puts up with it. I reckon one day I'll break!!!

So you wanted to know more about the phantom car parker? Right well get a picture in your head of a straight bit of road and along this there is about 6/7 visitor car parks for flats 1 - 50. Next to them is a car parking space for flat 7, next to that is one for flat 10, next to that is flat 22, and another flat next to that. (These are all clearly marked, and the markings were actually painted a few months ago) Well a few months ago we were all sent letters from the Agents that manage the properties. Apparently to stop people parking here who are just leaving their cars whilst they go off to work or something, they issued us all witha visitor permit and a residents permit. If you wanted to park in a visitors space you had to show the visitor permit and if you wanna park in my designated space aka flat 10 you have to show the residents permit. It shows the flat number on these permits. If you don't show the correct permit you are gonna get fined (alledgedly) and there are signs warning of this all around the car park!!

I don't have a car, I cannot actually drive, but I like to live somewhere that has designated parking for Trina and Wayne as I wouldn't want to have to cost them something to come and see me if you know what I mean. In the last flat it was never a problem coz the space for that one is bricked up and right next to the flat itself. I've not actually had problem with my space yet but I feel it is just a matter of days before there is one!!!

This complete and utter ejit has been spotted parking his car in my space!!!!! The other weekend it was there from Friday night to some time Sunday night. I went for a walk and purposefully walked around this car and there is NO permits displayed on it!! This whole situation is WINDING ME UP something cronic!!!!! I know your thinking well why should it bother her, she doesn't have a car...........................Well no perhaps it shouldn't but it does!!!! I think it's the principle of the thing!! Whats the point of putting a system in place if people can just park where the hell they like??

I found out he's actually either a resident or visitor to the building containing flat numbers 31 - 36................He's not EVEN in the same building for crying out loud!!! Just typing about this is winding me up.............I feel very strongly about this and wished there was something I can do about it. I'm just glad I know which block he's in coz if he's EVER in my space when Trina and Wayne come round I'm gonna tell him to move it!!! You see Wayne actually has a resident's permit so has more right to be there than him Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...............................

Apparently someone has received a ticket from this system so I read on the emails the other day but why can't this ejit get one?? Tonight he's parked in a visitor spot coz there is one free but come on..............this has to stop!!!!!!!

So there you go......now you know I'm losing it! I seriously can't stop thinking about this and it's driving me crazy. I was thinking the other day if he was parked there and they issued him a ticket would it be sent here? He is after all parked in my spot so they might think that the owner of the car is resident here!! He will not hear the end of it if that happens lol

Anyway I shall change the subject before I blow a blood vessel lol

Off to Trina's for the weekend and gyming it again :o) Think I need to work off some of that stress lol.........

Hope you all have a good weekend and sorry I ranted at you x

So did you all have a good weekend? I did nothing!!! Didn't make the most of the nice weather to be honest............I don't see the point sometimes. I can't stand the heat anyway ~ that's why my favourite season was always Spring coz you would get sunny days but none of this heat ;)

I did manage to get both of those applications finished and posted thanks to the bessie mate for proof reading and pointing out my mistakes lol............

Oh and I have found the phantom car parker ~ not sure if I've told you that story but I shall elaborate later on it the week ;) Worst thing is that he's not even in my block grrrrrrrr.............

Anyway I haven't posted a gig diary entry last week so I shall leave one now :o)

So I left you last time in Cardiff AGAIN just making our way inside the International Arena to see Bill Bailey................Enjoy xx

After a while the gig started. First was an announcement from a woman over the speakers which I honestly thought was the venue but no, it was part of bill's set as it was very funny talking about the venue not having safety belts or something like that. Next just before Bill came on a video was shown to music. It was the evolution of Bill and that too was very funny. I have come to the conclusion that there is not very much I can mention when it comes to a comedian's show. Unless you were there i guess the jokes wouldn't be too funny if I repeated them. (I shall have a look on Youtube for some clips) The thing about comedians too is not just the jokes but their delivery aka the facial expressions and Bill did not disappoint there. Of course as the thing was being recorded he got heckled quite a bit, not by either myself, Wayne or Trina I hasten to add. Firstly I can't remember what he was doing but someone shouted 'kill it' or was it eat it? I can't remember (note to self listen to the cd) and everytime afterwards there would be another person shouting out a similar thing!! At first it was funny but after a while it got a little annoying. The funniest moment that it was used in, was when an audience member sitting in the front gave Bill a polo and someone shouted 'eat it' out!! The jokes that i did enjoy were: Elton John throwing a tantrum, the asda song 'Asda I ain't gonna be your bitch', the love song (that's on his part troll dvd if you have that), the das hokey cokey song (again on the part troll dvd), UBS and the german gold, the AA (the flashing lights added to the funniness) and the emo song (espeically loved the heavy part at the end).

During the interval as planned Trina and I left our seats and went on the hunt for t-shirts and cd vouchers. She managed to get some from a programme seller and we went up to the merchandise. There was so many people around this area as it was next to the bar too. I suggested that we make our way out to the one near the entrance. So we pushed our way through the crowd that was out there getting food and stuff. We passed one bloke wearing a Queen/Paul Rodgers t-shirt so of course I said 'nice shirt', he said 'thanks'. The merchandise stall wasn't quite as busy and luckily they took card as neither of us had enough cash. Trina got 3 t-shirts, tour one's for myself and Wayne and a Das Hokey cokey one for herself. We made fought our way back through the crowds and back to our seats, again walking passed the front row aka Dan and Rosie. Again we stopped for a little while and spoke to them, but I soon made my way back to our seats and kept Wayne company. Trina didn't make her way back until the lights went dim and Bill was due back on stage, it was funny watching her try to find her seat.

I forgot to mention Bill zooming around on the ?? I can't remember the name of what it is!! When he eventually appeared for the 2nd act he zoomed around the audience on this and it was very funny.

When the gig finished we made our way out of the arena fairly slowly to join the queue for the cd's. Unfortunately for us the queue was quite long and we joined the end. At one point we were stood in front of the doors and when anyone had their cd they made their way out of the building through the part where we were standing. To be honestthere was nothing worse than people wanting to push past you. We were even getting queue rage as it looked like people were pushing in!! Trina and I are not good in queue's at the best of times!! Even though lots of people were leaving the queue didn't seem to go down. We did move at some point but just as we were getting close the end of the queue, some steward started handing them out to the people at the end of the queue to make it go down quicker. Damn it!! We did get our cd's eventually but it did take quite a while.

So we made our way out of the building and straight to the burger van for food. We bumped into Dan and Rosie outside so we chatted a bit. The hot dog I had was horrible!! Still never mind................We chatted about their upcoming birthday parties (well in January anyway!!) and then had to leave as we still had to get the car back out of the car park!! At least this time we knew we didn't have to queue for the ticket machine. So we made our way up to the car and the queue to get out was long. Unfortunately as we were on the fourth floor we were going to have to wait quite a while!! I was getting quite narky at the other drivers as they wouldn't let us out and we had quite a journey to go and they probably had to drive like 5/10 minutes!! At some point one couple were asking for jump cables to start someone's car, then we had to wait for a minute or two as they pushed it from one space to the other. Wayne wanted to get out and help, but Trina and I soon put a stop to that idea. We wanted to get home, we had to work the next day. Eventually we managed to get out and we were off back home.

I sat in the front to keep Wayne company on the way back home as Trina tends to fall asleep. We reminicsed about the gig (which I love to do) and I don't remember how it happened but most of the way home we sang TV theme tunes such as: He-man, Dogtanian, Willy Fogg, Littlest Hobo, Mysterious Cities of Gold and many more. It was fun. We had to stop at the services on the way home and I eventually got to bed about 2am.

I had to work the next day but it wasn't so bad. At least I hadn't been jumping about and going nuts at this gig!!!!

Well that's it for this entry...sorry if it's a long one again....next gig entry willbe the last for these two weeks in November last year...........

So I hope you all have a super week x

As you know on Friday I went down to Ms Trina's and as soon as Wayne and myself arrived we had to get changed and leave. We went straight down to the town hall to play badminton!!! Such a weird set up. I knew they played every friday but I assumed it was at a leisure centre somewhere!! Oh no, in the town hall there is 4 courts all set up to be used but apparently not many people realise it's there. That night there were two other people at the end of the hall playing away. Trina wanted me on her team which was such a mistake I was crap and knew i would be!!! After a while of being fed up of getting embarrassed of not being able to hit the shuttle cock back I sat out and watched the two blokes ~ they were very good!!

After a while and Trina not amused that I wasn't watching them ;) She insisted playing against me ~ just her and me!!! I must've picked up some hints coz I was starting to do well. It was decided that Wayne should come back into the game and Trina and I concocted a plan against him :o) As I was getting good closer to the net that's where I stood. We ended up giving him a good run for his money. It was just a shame when the time was up coz i was getting into that!!

The rest of the evening was spent with me trying to give Trina a quick lesson on Facebook *rolls eyes* and we had a drive round on Wayne's new Grand Theft Auto game.

Next morning we had to get up fairly early but not too early as we had managed to convince Wayne to give us a lift to the gym. Yep this is the gym that is based on the Queen musical We Will Rock You. (Sorry no pics guys!) 'One Vision, One Fitness' it's called and I loved it :o) I tell you if I lived closer to it I would probably go there every day!!! There's not a lot of mirrors like most gyms and when we arrived we were the only people there working out. This is my kind of gym :o) The equipment was fab!! We did five minutes on the tread mills then shown what I call the seated area!! Don't be fooled....................There are about 9/10 chairs that are computerised and you do about 2/3 minutes on each one and each one works a different part of your body. The first one concentrates on your arms and legs and the next would do your abs etc etc.......You take a piece of paper with you so you can chart your progress and there are 3 levels ~ Beginner, Intemediate and Advanced. Certainly felt like we had worked out after a session on them.

We then went on the walking machine for about 5 minutes (we both loved this one more than the tread mills.............although I should add Trina started off on this one going backwards, don't ask me how LOL). Then 5 minutes on the rowing machines and 5 minutes on the bikes :o) A full workout and so much fun.

The walls of the gym are covered with graffitti from the musical and the main wall is based on the Tottenham Court Road tube station which is home to the Bohemians in the musical. There's a framed 'one vision, one fitness' tshirt signed by cast members and other memorabilia around.

After the workout we met Wayne in town for a fry up :o) Well we couldn't let that work out go to waste could we lol................We've convinced Wayne he should sign up for the gym and is going for his induction at the weekend I think. I hope I will be able to go again soon and make the most of this but it does cost £5 per session otherwise you set up a standing order for £30 which is not in my best interests as I won't be using it enough to justify that cost!!! Unless I moved of course ;)

I was driven home not long after that and a few more go's on Grand Theft Auto, I like just driving the car round and causing destruction. Such a bad girl LOL

Sunday I woke up and I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired I couldn't move or have the energy to do anything worth while :( I did manage to hoover but I have no idea how. I also managed to finish my book :o) So exciting when that happens tee hee hee...............

I let myself down though :( I wanted to spend the day concentrating on some application forms that i had requested. There are at least two jobs that I am applying for. I spent yesterday working on one of them instead. When I got home from work this evening I tried my damned hardest to concentrate on the supporting evidence but it's crap to be honest with you. Why is it when I want a job and need one I suddenly come over all useless with regards to supporting applications?? I've sent the rough draft to Trina for proof reading and hoping she might be able to word things a bit better for me :o) Bless her

Some good news deemed from the weekend ;) I received my pressie and cos Trina was here when I opened it I had to tell what it was and that I was going to order her one :o) I also received a 'We Will Rock You' beanie hat which was a pressie from Trina to cheer me up from last week ~ she's so lovely to me :o) Unfortunately the weather has got a lot warmer so I can't wear it yet LOL

Also one of my bras broke last week which i wasn't amused about coz I thought how am I going to afford a new one ~ Marks and Spencer charge £20/30 for a decent one. Well on my little trip to Matalan yesterday I found bra's in my size for £7 :o) YAY happy little dance xx Easily pleased me lol

Well i shall love you and leave you here, just thought you'd like to know how I got on x

Till next time

A new month a new colour for 'Boredom Eats Away' :o) Gotta spruce the place up a bit if you know what i mean lol

Thanks for the comments to the last entry, I think I have to answer the one or two of you that asked where I get my energy from to do all these gigs etc........Well to be completely honest with you when I'm not at gigs I am sat here at the computer or watching TV which lets face it is not all that energetic!! I may go for a walk every now and then and i may run the hoover through this flat but I don't do anything that energetic and I think this enables me to save it up throughout the year :o) Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it xx

So the weekend ~ I told you about the bike and that was all I did really. Wayne and Trina helped me with my shopping, which was good of them but it meant that I didn't get home till quite late :( They took up most of my evening. But then I spent the rest of the night on MSN chatting away and playing games with Trina :o) Then more of our friends were on there so they started chatting to us too. It was fun. We ended up playing more games on Saturday night too. She is going to be such a bad influence on me where the internet is concerned. She was online on Tuesday night too so journal reading suffered ~ sorry peeps but I'm sure you understand x

Work has not been great ~ surprise surprise!! Mind you, me feeling useless doesn't help!! Wednesday was awful ~ I just wanted to have a good cry and when I thought i could the cleaners were in the loo's so I couldn't go, I had to bite it back :( Hey, ho!!! Worst news is the girl I am not too keen on...well they are moving her bit where she sits and from what I've been told today she is going to be sitting behind us :( It's bad enough I'm going on a course with her for a WHOLE day but to have to put up with her 7 hours a day behind me, I swear I will end up telling her where to go!!!

Thing is though I can't even tell you why I don't like her. Do you ever meet peoplelike that where you just take an instant dislike to them? Well from what she said yesterday I get the feeling it may be mutual lol....She was talking to one of my fellow colleagues about the course and who was going on the same day as she is. Well I heard her say my name (or at least i think I did), she said it quite quietly. Go on, tell me I'm paranoid, but then she was going on about how she wanted to swap days etc!!!! Jeez............

Anyway enough about her she has taken up too much of my journal space as it is ;) What else is there to tell you about?

Exeter City were playing Torquay United in the football play off's tonight. 1st leg at home for Exeter and it would appear they have lost 2 - 1 :( Regular readers to my journal may remember that we got this far last year and went to Wembley were of course they lost. Can they get to Wembley and do better this year? We should find out by Monday as they play the 2nd leg at Torquay but being 1 down already they have it all to play for ~ as the pundits would say LOL..............Dunno why I'm mentioning this I can't stand football, but local stuff like this interests me LOL I am a strange girl!!

So this weekend tomorrow I am off to Trina's. On Saturday we are going to 'One Vision One Fitness' which is a gym in Torquay, not far from where Trina lives. Can you believe this gym has been based on the Queen musical We Will Rock You? Nope me neither that's why we're going to check it out. We are having an induction and then shall probably use some of the machines :o) Apparently at some point there is going to be a jaccuzi...........can't wait for that lol

I come back home on Saturday night and god knows what I shall do for the rest of the weekend.......probably play internet games, watch videos etc :o) General laziness lol

Anyway I think that's all for tonight........I'm just gonna have a quick scour in the newspaper for jobs..........gotta find a new one!! and wanna finish my book, I'm less than a 100 pages from the end and now it's starting to get exciting lol

Hope you all have a good weekend xx

How are you?? I'm alright :o)

Weekend was okay didn't really do anything but I shall expand more on that later on during the week.

But important news:

1) Bike is gonna cost me minimum £30 maximum £50!!!!!!! I'm panicking about this slightly as I don't think I can afford that with next month's pay packet!! I wanna get my hair cut and go and see mum. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr to expenses!! Plus it's the first month of the higher rent!! All these expenses go up but the wages never reflect it :( I hate Devon for that very reason.....................

2) Queen & Paul Rodgers have released more UK dates. Yep you've guessed it Trina and I have added more to our list so it now looks like this and trust me this is the definitive list. I CANNOT do anymore!!! No more leave left :(

Paris, Munich, Mannheim, Nottingham, Glasgow, London, Cardiff, Birmingham, Liverpool (Sheffield) Vienna and (London)

New ones in brackets!!!! This year is gonna be mad!!!

Talking of madness it is of course Gig Diary day :o) Back in November Trina, Wayne and myself went to four gigs in two weeks. I've already told you about two of them, (Foo's in Cardiff and London), well this next one takes us into the second of those weeks. Enjoy xx

BILL BAILEY - CARDIFF INTERNATIONAL ARENA 21st NOVEMBER 2007

Wayne and I agreed to meet in the car park at work as usual, so I left work at 4pm. I changed my top and made my way down to the usual spot which is where I met him. We then joined the rest of the Exeter traffic and made our way to the train station to wait for Trina. Whilst waiting we discussed how brilliantly awesome the Foo Fighters were on the Saturday and how nothing we ever go and see will come close to the brilliance of that gig!! So we listened to the Foo's whilst waiting. This was after we had been into the station to look for a cash point but to no avail.

Trina's train actually arrived on time, after saying hello and making ourselves comfortable in the car, we were on our way, back to Cardiff again!! We decided on a brief stop to get food and after moaning about the staff in the other services we figured it was best to stop elsewhere. So we stopped at Tiverton and got ourselves a Mcdonald's. We arrived at the right time because as we were leaving a big group of teenage boys were joining the queue for food. I couldn't even begin to imagine how annoyed I would've been getting stuck behind them!! After purchasing our food we went to sit in the car to eat and soon we were on our way again. It didn't take too long to get to the Seven bridge but as soon as we were on it I felt the need for the loo, yet there was none in sight!! *panic* On the other side of the bridge and near the tunnel you go through to get to Cardiff the traffic was very busy. It soon became apparent as to why this was as there was an accident on the other side of the road. It looked quite bad from what I can remember. Plus every now and then after passing that incident we saw police cars. It was like they were everywhere!!

We managed to enter Cardiff but it appeared we had entered via a different route. We were starting to miss Gareth and his sense of directions!! None of us could find the streets that we drove down last time, it all looked different. Eventually we were going down the road which we had gone down the previous week when we were trying to find our way out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wayne was going to use the same persons driveway to turn round in, but figured he might spot us this time and come out and have a go at us. It was quite stressful trying to find our way to the car park, let alone the building!! Trina was stressed so this made Wayne stressed and I was desperate for the toilet still.

Eventually we found the building and made our way to the car park. Unfortunately there was a queue of cars waiting to get in so we watched the people stood outside the pub near the venue and listened to their conversations about Bill, music and stuff. Once we were in the car park we managed to find a space but it was on the 4th floor. This was not going to help in making a quick getaway. As I was still desperate for the loo, I walked round to the building VERY quickly. Unfortunately there was a bit of a crowd going in so I had to wait for a bit longer!!

We get inside and make our way into the main part of the arena, looking for the toilets. If I remember rightly we had to ask someone!! They directed us over to the bar area which you can imagine was packed. The arena looked very different with seats inside it, it made it look a bit bigger, which was odd!! Anyway we found the loo's to my delight, and afterwards went to find our seats. Row 14 I think it was..........which wasn't that far from the front, but we had to walk round the front row to get to the otherside which was closer to our seat numbers. As we made our way round the front, we had to walk past Dan and Rosie. Wayne and I said a quick hello and went to find our seats. Trina stayed for a while and came to find her seat too. We had a good view which I was pleased about, not too many tall people sitting in front of me!! The screensaver on the backdrop on stage was off a light bulb and the background kept changing colour. There was some leaflets on our seats as we sat down and these were advertising the cd of the gig which we could order from the merchandise stall or one of the stewards and we would have to pick it up after the show. Trina and I debated about doing this then or wait until the intermission. Eventually it was decided that we would wait until the intermission and then we would look for t-shirts too.

_________________________________________________________

So I shall leave you there for now...............

back later in the week for a more gossipy entry and possibly some old piccy's ~ have uploaded one into the all about me section. Me and Trina, check it out and have a laugh on us lol

I sure hope that where ever you are and whatever you are doing you do not have a constant ache like myself :( I promise this entry shall be more cheerier than the last entry but just bear with me a minute lol...........

Monday morning I woke up with back pain :( I've never had back pain before. I had a feeling it might be something, but it turned out that it was just back pain :( This lasted all day Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday. I felt down, energy less.......it was making walking to and from work quite hard work!! Luckily today it has felt better but my arms are aching today. They have been most of the week too but today it's quite bad :( To be honest with you I have no idea what I've done, but the only thing I can think of is on Friday when I did my shopping. I didn't cycle round and ended up buying some heavy items. So I carried them home, I had my backpack, and about 3 carrier bags. Then on Saturday I cleaned out my kitchen cupboards and actually moved a couple of them around ~ just for a change lol (well not the cupboards just the stuff inside of them ;) It's just a combination of things that I've done so I'm a bit of a muppet :(

*Just had to pause for a phone call from Trina. Some bad news about Wayne's mum :( Jeez I hate this week

Wayne is such a sweetheart. As my back was still hurting yesterday I asked Trina if I could borrow Wayne on Friday to do my food shopping. She said that he was fine with it. So he's going to pick me up from Sainsbugs tomorrow after work and drive me home, before he heads home himself. :o) He emailed me today and asked if that was all I wanted help with coz he offered to help me actually do my shopping ~ bless him :o)

This week at work has just been one huge moan fest.........unfortunately it doesn't get any better lol

I have had some good news this week though. When Trina and I went to our first EVER Queen fanclub convention back in 1994 it must've been!! We met quite a few people and one of them was a penpal of Trina's called Claire Morgan. Well the other day I logged into facebook and she's requested to be my mate :o) We had fun with Claire and her friends at that first convention. Because of this friend request it has been making me reminicise about times we have had. I think this weekend I might dig out some old photos and upload them to show you some fun that we had.

At the weekend I am also going into town and asking in a couple of bike shops about my bike. I really need to get moving on this. I feel lost without my bike, but if it's gonna cost a fortune goodness knows how long I'll be without it. Thanks to Barry for his suggestion about Freecycle. I am a member of the group on yahoo but there were no bikes on there the other day. Unfortunately I am probably gonna be quite picky though when it comes to trying to get a new one. All the bikes they make these days don't have the bit on the back where you can put bags too!!

Thinking of stoopid new technology ~ is anybody else having a problem with AOHell where for example right now my inbox is telling me I have 49 emails ~ yet if I read one instead of the number going down it just stays the same..............I have been reading my mail via logging in on Internet explorer coz at least if there is new mail it will show up and I can keep count of how many are left.........it's just so annoying!!!!!

Ooooo more good news, or maybe it isn't?? Who knows lol.......my Trina has internet at home :o) She rang me last Friday, asking if I was online and if I had a personal message on the website I was on. I was thinking 'how does she know that' but went to read it anyway and it said 'Guess whose got internet at home.' She had told me earlier in the day she had gone to the bank for work but really she had gone home to fix the internet in :o) WOOHOO.......... but then they went and got lots of viruses ~ silly people............but they got the computer back today so hopefully tomorrow night I can chat away to her on MSN. I have told her she'll have to start her own journal now. She's not with AOHell but if she does start one I shall leave a link here so that you can all go and say hi :o)

The only other thing to tell you is a bit of a secret ;) I've ordered myself a pressie :o) I'm excited coz it's something I really want. When I get paid again if I have enough money I am gonna buy Trina one too..........so I can't tell you what it is on here. Not yet anyway LOL

Well I hope you all have a good weekend xx

I think I shall just list the things I'm annoyed with and hopefully I can get them out of my head in time for new ones :o)

2) AOHell

6) My leg aching all day

7) the stupid itchy bit of my leg that itches every now and then and won't stop itching

8) Life in general............

I think I must be feeling down or something :( Hey, ho..............

As I finished telling you guys about Foo London last week in Gig Diary I thought I would add some Foo photos from both Cardiff and London. Enjoy and I apologise for the darkness, blurriness of some of them ;)

Hope your all having a better week than me xx

I hear it in the movies and nope it doesn't suit me!!

Anyway how's your week going? Woohoo one more day to go till the weekend........I think it's time I did a proper entry to give you a small catch up of my weekend....seems such a long time ago ;)

Well as you know I met up with my mum and Meggy in town. They were late arriving and I was sat there at the bus station thinking they weren't ever gonna turn up. They did though :o) and we walked round town and did some shopping. I managed to get a new top for work purposes and new trousers that are slightly too long but for £4 you can't go wrong can you ? I've been wearing them this week and after a couple of hours of wear the button that does them up flew off :( I'm good at sewing on button's though so I did not panic lol

What else did i get? I don't remember to be fair..............Trina turned up at about 5pm ish and we met her in town. We went to the bus station cafe for a drink and a natter with mum and meggy as we waited for their bus to arrive. I have a great pic of Meggy with my head gear from my fancy dress at the convention, but I've forgotten to upload it sorry..............next time ;)

Trina and I came home after saying goodbye to mum and megs, and had snacks whilst watching Britain's Got Talent. Then Trine updated her MP3 player and we played Guitar Hero :o)

We went to bed quite late and unfortunately I couldn't sleep :( It wasn't until gone 4am that I got to sleep eventually.

Next morning we had sausage sarnies, made by Trina, (she's good to me) and listened to the radio. Wayne turned up at 12pm ish to pick her up and when they were leaving he almost nicked my sleeping bag.......after Trina telling me that she wanted one like it I was not amused LOL

I spent the rest of the morning tidying up and then I watched 'Scum' which I had purchased from Poundland on DVD :o) I like that movie, it is horrendous some of the things that go on but I do like it, don't know why though lol!! I like Ray Winstone as an actor to be honest.............

This week at work has been boring as we are awaiting the accounts which should come tomorrow. Luckily though *touch wood* I have not had too many complainy people like last week. I think one of my colleagues had them all today as she was talking to me about how she had probably come across as harsh on the phone calls she had taken, bless her.

Unfortunately this week I have not been very well either :( On Tuesday at work in the afternoon I got a sore throat :( This lasted Wednesday too and I felt like crap (for want of a better word). It was probably the first time in ages I actually debated about ringing in sick :( I was running on about 60% energy and that's not like me at all.

All I could think was since the convention a few weeks ago I have not had a good night's sleep, then with this weekend as well I am probably quite run down :( Still a weekend to do nothing this weekend lol.........

I do have to walk round to sainsbugs to get my shopping though as the bike is knackered and there has been no sign of bicycle repair man and I can't afford to get it fixed properly yet. Might make enquiries about that this weekend like how much is it gonna cost........wish me luck xx

Well I shall leave you here..........oh before I do is something wrong with the alerts?? I don't seem to be getting that many!!! Perhaps you are just not writing and I shouldn't be so paranoid huh?

till next time xx

for those of you that are interested in these things I've updated my sidebar again...........didn't like those blinkies lol
